This project try to link the history of coal mining which is the start of the industrial revolution and the massive change we need if we want to sustainably continue to produce. Climate change is at the hearth of this project.
Half process, half sculpture, La Revolution Lignovore attempt to rally the questions of recycling organic/ green waste and minimizing our carbon footprint.
La Revolution Lignivore is some kind of artistic composting station. So it is a carbon sink, also. Dynamic as biological life is, this sculpture can move along its axe to regularly recreate the compost heap. It refreshes the oxygen and to helps to decompose the waste. At the end of the process, this sculpture will produce carbon-free fertilizer for any kind of cultural field.
How to artistically contribute to an ecological world in danger?
