the great dilution
Small car and large washing
Supported by the public art residency program of the art centre: le bel Ordinaire
The history of Bizanos is related to that of water.
Drawn like a fiction, Boris Raux’s project questions the fate of the washerwomen.
Today, they would no-doubt be fed up with scrubbing and cleaning and dream of escaping.
So the artist imagines The great dilution, a sculpture taking the shape of a canoe-kayak, on top of a car, ready to leave!
