Through a set of mostly unseen rhizomatically interacting works from emerging artists, Légère Inquiétude explores theterritory of the unquietness concept in the contemporary art field, by questioning how this unquietness that hauntscontemporary society- at a time when mutations and conflicts are rising - innervates, as reflexion matters, the artisticpractices and leads to new artistic forms. Légère Inquiétude questions the syntax of the exhibition itself and its metalanguageby displaying both objects and immaterial works. These works, mostly made for the exhibition, question the materiality of the work and the very possibility of its disappearance as well as of its reenactment.
The difficulty to conceptualize current social mutations and to redefine new forms of affiliation, as much as the increasingnumber of uncertainities about our future, the reconfiguration of the norms and institutions, the proliferation of theconflicts in the international realm and the ecological warnings : all of these elements produce an unquietness that isbecoming a constituent feature of our modern societies. An unquietness that goes through the young artistic scene.
